When we first started G-ODE our goal was to create a product that was not only made up of materials that aligned with our love of Mother Earth, but also to make a product that was manufactured in a mindful way leaving as gentle a footprint as possible. We have achieved this by taking the following steps.

HIGH PERFORMANCE RECYCLED FABRICS

Did you know almost all synthetic activewear is made from plastic? We just make ours with materials that would otherwise pollute the earth. It all starts with 100% post-consumer water bottles and other waste, which are crushed into billions of tiny chips and washed until clean.

The chips are then spun into a soft, recycled yarn that eliminates the need for petroleum and diverts water bottles from landfills and oceans. You can watch a video of the process here.

US BASED, GREEN CERTIFIED MANUFACTURING

Cutting and sewing is the most human intensive part of making clothing, with 9 pairs of hands and eyes making sure each product is properly constructed, we can achieve high standards of quality control. Additionally, each item is made-to-order eliminating unnecessary waste.

Our manufacturer is family owned and operated in the United States. Their Green Certified factories are dedicated to people rather than profits, which is why we partnered with them. They uphold values important to us, such as making sure every employee is treated with respect and paid a fair and living wage in a safe and positive environment.
